Alright! Enough is Enough already! This winter we have had so much Snow! It seems like we get a storm and then another one comes rolling in! It really sucks. I don't remember ever being so cold! Days that are 8 - 10 degrees in December and January were just miserable. We had a horrible storm a few weeks ago that hit right at rush hour, of course, that left people stranded on the road in there vehicles for hours. They even had kids that were on a school bus trying to get home for hours, and finally had to be taken back to their elementary school to spend the night! How sad...
This picture shows the snow drifts by our front walkway!
So... the question comes up of why this storm was so bad? WIND! It was so windy that you could barely see anything in front of you while driving. We live at the top of a circle and the wind was blowing in the direction of our house, and we dug out for days! Well, okay, not really dug out.. but we had a ton of snow!
We had the kids out shoveling too! Here is a picture of Jen out by our shed! THe snowdrift is almost taller than her! And... the best part for the kids living at the top of circle... when the snow plow comes to plow our circle.. (which is not every storm) they push the snow right in front of our house. So most of the time, part of our driveway is blocked. Half the winter, we had a pile on each side of our driveway! Not to mention, that part of our driveway was being blocked by snow! It is so irritating. The kids love it, though! They can go sledding right in the front yard. Jason even helped Janson dig a snow fort in it! That only lasted a little while... As most of you know (that live here in Utah).. This late in the winter we start getting really warm days. So the snow melts a lot in between storms.
This post is really for all of our readers out of state! To let you all know how fortunate you are to live in warm States! (in the winter, at least)
IS IT SPRING YET?

I agree.. BOO!! No more snow.. it's practically March. There should be tulips and crocus' popping up, not snow.
Jan, that is one thing I do not miss about Utah. Oh, and also I hate the smog during Jan.. I am here in OK enjoying 70 degree weather!! Sorry
